My name is Oliver!
I finalize images by collaborating with the director's vision, always aiming for an authentic perspective. I approach this in a straightforward and practical way, drawing from instrumental concepts of image formation and historical principles that are fundamental to cinema as we know it today. All of this ensures that every aesthetic aspect of the production is amplified to serve the film's narrative.
My mission is to help rising directors find their authenticity and create better narratives through color.
In May 2025, marking my 10th year in the industry, I had the honor of coloring the feature film Fantastic Folktales (2025), directed by João Gilberto Lara and Evandro Caixeta. This film was part of the Brazilian Ministry of Culture's commission at the Marché du Film at the Cannes Film Festival.
Additionally, in 2024, I was selected to join an international color grading study group, which I am currently a part of. This group is mentored by one of the industry's most prominent and influential colorists, Cullen Kelly, who is also an associate member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
